Canada is a country with a very long coastline. Hudson Bay is found in the north and has ice most of the year. The Gulf of St. Lawrence forms the east coast of the country. We find the Inside Passage along the west coast of British Columbia, and it follows the coast between many islands.
In Northern Canada we find the Northwest Passage. This Passage is made up of ice-clogged straits between many islands. Canada was covered by a continental ice sheet during the Ice Age. We can still see today the scoured land that was the result of that. Glaciers, deep canyons, huge lakes and massive rivers are all results of the massive force that the ice had on this land.
